Stupidity, all there is to be said is there in he title.

Three things can never beeng (intention to mean be and been and being) in Harmony as they are not harmonized as yet I believe. So if we were to draw a venn diagram of these along with another category others for now, what are we left with? What is the domain? I don't really know if anyone has answered this. Also, is anything a pure sub-set of the other, one can keep guessing I realize. But if I asked maybe a Scientist, Spiritual Leader or an Anthropology guy all would say their pursuit is the real thing and mostly would have something to support each of their theories with complete belief. Wait! what would be conviction then. When I do mention that any of their pursuit seems ineffective am I being ignorant. If I don't care about anything and won't be a purist would it affect me?

Another thought that's screaming and making all that noise in my head right now is how much of religions that are a part of the Spirituality set mythology and how much of it is history? As a Hindu, Muslim or Christian how are we interpreting them as an individual? or are we interpreting anything at all? or we just assuming there was god who manifested as a human that we all humans relate to; could feel, could walk with and breathe? and was on a mission to make us realize faith, our being and our purpose?

As far as Hindu mythology/history (assume as suitable to your understanding and realization of the journey of YOUR life) everything is anachronistic with my current understanding, it may exactly not be a religion also, I assume it to be a way of life but with other religions thrown in, they too are but a way of life but does that mean we assume one to be of greater value and others to be a sub-set of lesser value? If Hindu mythology can be put down on a scale Islam and Christianity and other religions may fall on some blocks of time-line and would be of some considerable scale with most of the current understanding and date ranges that we humans have interpreted maybe?

In all of these what I have tried to analyse for my own sake is if things discussed in some scriptures would still boil down to paths of realisation addressing the way to be a human worth being provided the most im-probabilistic chance to appear in these scheme of things as space, stars, planets? Hinduism may provide some more questions to me like if karma, dharma, bhakti, gyaana concepts are really the maarga (paths) that humans are in pursuit of? I am sure other religions may have boiled down to similar pithy definitions I assume that may be the tip of an iceberg I have managed to see at the horizon with respect to one religion?

Also, the most current state my mind is in I assume Hinduism may well have been a non-religion brought out of non existence (nothing) just as space as a concept is to the concept of Universe in the visible and physical manifestation and as historically fact verifiable as religions such as Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism or others are?

Be it simplicity in your thoughts, actions, needs, you solve many a problems.
Being Vegetarian
Being Devout
Being Human
Being Happy
Being Pleasant
Being un-selfish
Being un-competitive
Being a teetotaller
That's all I can remember, but if you try you can be probably simple in anything that is, maybe or there!

In the past week three people randomly asked me if I ever plan to do an MBA. Of the three times, the first time I said No, the second time I expressed my opinion and analysed it loudly on why I do not want do an MBA and the third time I announced an alternative I was most likely to choose.

I want to study again to be a student
I want to learn again to be a dissident
I want to live again without an accident
I know most know/feel/think it is impudent
I am probably improvident
I fully know that I may not be a transcendent
But too many 'I's' to begin with would make 'U's' and 'They's' think I am over-confident
But in the confines it does not create a dent
(Definitely not doing a word list here!)

Last among the many humans was the one with hunger to learn, who learnt enough to channelize it and create a course called MBA, make it a commodity, he certified and thus you are an MBA as thou may be engineers.

This argument does not hold if you were a doctor, scientist or of the arts among others, because learning from experiences and mistakes are worth their matter(weight?) in gold.

If MBA or engineering degrees have case studies etc. which they most definitely do have nowadays, they surely teach you things quickly, effectively and efficiently at an application level very much like the other professions giving you a strong reason to do an MBA.

I personally respect an MBA as one will have an newer opportunities (role, earning, learning, knowledge and skills etc.), but to 'live' in this word and learn, 'do' what you want and earn money(fast or eventually), 'gather' knowledge, 'develop' one's personality and skills are all accepted in action during the course of ones life as much as they are accepted in the English language with the action verbs within the apostrophes mentioned above.

I will only conclude by saying love, live and be happy, healthy and wealthy. Also, last but not the least your satisfaction is the key, you could be a monk, beggar, politician or a business man/woman and be happier or as happy as you imagine your self to be after an MBA.

Wonder, why some of us may feel unenthusiastic about day to day activities. We are alive by one of the strongest support of statistical theories of permutations (that's why maybe it has a mutation in the word by itself). To let the feeling of life sink in, to try to be happy every moment, spread happiness around us, arrest negativity, bolster the positivist in each of us and for a moment indulge ourselves in this mundane stream of thought. I bet you would feel energized the way I did, do some crazy little acts to cheer yourself up, pull your being out of lull.

This instance that provoked this blog, I indulged; in music, in cleanliness, in consciousness of my surroundings and fellow beings and yes it did strike me. What struck me was a breeze that wasn't there, a tingle that only nicotine usually brings in, maybe a sudden and controlled release of dopamine too, which served the purpose and I swear I felt my blood flow, it felt like a flood or ever if I would have been stuck in a strong current of a river that would definitely dump me into an ocean and only then let me off it's hook.

Somethings I then realized, are better always fresh, the most important of those things being you, both the physical as well the inner soul (transcendental as it may sound). I don't know what I believe but definitely being an agnostic would be difficult given the complexity of the permutation of this earth, space and my lottery of existence.

Finding a destitute has always pulled out a few questions naturally from my insides that none of us have probably tried to address. Trying to list out what or who a destitution or a destitute respectively is should be the first task:

  • The first and most prevalent kind are the poor
  • The next kind are the sick and poor with or without anyone (be it kith and kin or an organization etc.) to take care of them
  • The last and third kind I could think of as of now are addicts both poor and rich with or without anyone to take care of them

What would anyone of us treat them like or behave if we were to ever encounter such people. I bet that, all you would be worried about in that point of time is nothing ever related to them, but is this human? is this what the world has come to? or what human beings have taught themselves to shield from? is this rational? is this something to do with evolution and the survival of the fittest? is this what society wants? is this what you want your child to do?

Think of this. If a man/woman is hurt in an accident and is critical and profusely bleeding on the road and might die, would you or would you not try to help her/him in this situation? Is this different from that of encountering a destitute who could or could not be helped?

Luckily today there is someone or the other whose old (ironically as people would term it today, as misanthropic) conscience kicks in and helps, but the day is not far when this conscience shall never come out from a more evolved person/society at some later point in time. We have a government that can't manage a population, that can't promise some descendant of a citizen at the time of independence who subscribed to equality, fairness and justice. Let me also remind you, it might not be just India alone, there maybe other countries that have this dilemma on their minds, but do they falter 90% of the times. I guess some have given this a fair consideration and hence the statistic of 90% holds.

In conclusion: Yes, the world is better doomed and I hope it was made for that, you may prefer to call it Kali Yuga, Apocalypse or whatever. Again not for a moment I would ask you to think and not ask me this question as to whether I am being too rational to be real and surviving in this world or if I am just to negative and should stay cheered up and positive and be as blind as I had better been.

Discredits: A drunken seemingly very poor, disillusioned man and also seeming hurt on the face and fallen in the First Class (note the capital 'F' and 'C' and that's what most of our mindsets are really all about, being selfish and banishing worry about others and thinking only about ones own comfort and satisfaction) compartment of a Bombay local; with his back supported on one of the walls that are generally there on either side of each bogies entrance. Worst still was that he was awake, seemed highly drunk, writhing in pain and also having a matchbox in the palm of his hand as if his fingers were hurting and he could not get himself to hold the pack in his palm and with an open pack of beedi strewn on the floor. He looked upset or was drunk or was doing something terribly wrong, 'HANGING' around in this fashion in the first class compartment I do not know. But what struck me and would and could not forget from that instance on, was the blank lost look on his face; of dejection, of emotion, of pain and/or a state of drunkenness that his eyes echoed? or was it something beyond an solution? Or is it an itching in the form of a being just lying there totally ravaged, two feet below near the two feet of mine?

Why does it have to be true, why does it have to be a feeling so blue
Its like going to office on a Monday, even when your birthday is on a Sunday
mundane, insane one more year older to add to your pain
twenty seven year older and not able to think about life ahead over the boulder
at work, in a online social network or even among the young achieving turks
your old age lurks, in time i guess only peace with self is all that works
spend thrift and life spent in a dirty drift
you need not head to the right or left
enjoy your linear life and stock up for the senior strife

Hate and love.Life and beyond. Why can't truth be the currency, why we supplement our words and feelings to give the truth the miss? Is it to keep people around you happy? Is societal pressures of so much importance?
I think it is love for our close-ones as seen by society, that affects its tryst with the real world around you. Yes you shan't not care. However, if you cannot deal with life in its currency and face up to its challenges, then there may still be no meaning to life other than the way you see people around you perceive it.
Stay real, stay true and love people, life and the opportunities you have/been offered. Too littered to make clear sense but the deeper the sea the uglier the current; and calmer the sky the more disturbing the horizon. Never feel let down, never give up and you shall be an explanation/evidence/truth and manifestation of Gita/any holy book revered by humans as the ultimate guide to righteousness, moral uprightness and humanity and you could still be ignorant of religion.

What do you do when you leave a lawless land! You wonder about the freedom you are not going to get somewhere else. I am so used to buying my food at 60 bucks a meal that I wont be able to digest the food in Bombay after I leave Gurgaon. I have used an auto rickshaw only about ten times in the last 4 years in Gurgaon, how am I going to manage to hire the autos so common in Mumbai.
I never liked my paneer or my acidity trouble by keeping up all night, eating no proper food and it seems so endearing now(today).
I liked the default parathas for breakfast, lunch and my dinner and now I will have to eat something I have to choose from in a huge menu with a list of dishes. The lonely drives on my Bajaj XCD on roads that seemed new always will slowly turn into a routine as stirring as honeybees flocking the bee hive and me being caught up in between. I will miss the random 90's hindi remix playlists and the sudden fits of dancing and merry making any day or any time that has happened.
I liked people poking fun of Rajni and I evened joined them in there acts because I had friends who liked joking bout the 'SuperStar' himself. And now will I turn into an ardent fan of his yet again?
I liked having the interesting but nevertheless useless discussions even when it was already 2 in the night and even when my deliverable was scheduled to be sent out. Will I get a chance to re live that pressure and fun time again, I guess now time only can tell.
Will I get my eventful lunch breaks back, will I listen to tip tip barsa paani rndomly at 3 in the night, will I have breakfast at Mc D's at 4 in the morning, would I randomly end up in a place like I landed in Jaipur one fine morning or will I get to play a free tabla in office...only time can tell is it? so supremely annoying. Whoever tried reading this...please don't tell me you did not understand anything or it was utter non-sense and the post absolutely made no sense.
I still think its not the end and I shall not change myself beyond those momentary lines that I started this paragraph with.
Gurgaon: You shall be missed and I wont even talk about missing friends.

The numerous rumors of

Saturday, July 24, 2010

As I left office on Friday randomness of a weekend was lurking with the same sinister effect as always. One important necessity of spending a weekend in a place like Gurgaon is definitely having no plans. All this came flashing past my spent letchy Friday eyeballs as I prepared to leave office. The first random idea spurted out of the year-long 'The Machinist' complex giving Nachiboy Assistant Manager Ranavde, he was begging for a trip to KFC. He was under the feeling that his good old days of 8 pack ribs were getting more prominent. On this idea, we had to gather a team of hungry Friday office-goers who would settle for chicken legs after accepting the fact that no remotely human female leg was ever going to be on their plates, or so...but wait isn't the story shaping up different. Yes! yes!

So as we gathered the ambushing party for the KFC drill. We picked up the most trustworthy chicken guzzler we know, 'Aditya Chakravarti' aka Bong aka Baldy, who sometimes gave you the feeling that if Bengalis ever were ubiquitous on Planet earth then fishes, chicken, mutton and rice would have been extinct (sorry for the wrong word) long long ago.But the man had his agenda set; he announced that he needs a run on the treadmill to keep his supposedly healthy heart healthier, even as he swam in a tub of food all night and 30 more minutes passed by. Me and Ankur waited discussing the last few uninteresting Friday chores, by the time Baldy returned we had a Chicken hunger bout and a reminder from Nachiboy reaching KFC. We left on my bike as Baldy did the slow motor-neuron jingle after coming back from the gym where an already un-prodigious, lowly computer skilled Baldy struggled to hit on the sign-out tab before leaving. Baldy, left in sometime in his un-air conditioned, un-radio fitted Maruti Legendary 800.We reached KFC waited for Nachi for a few minutes and headed inside and place our order of a large chicken bucket, 2+1 free donated Pepsi by the super-busy KFC attendant.

We chewed the food giving the road side hunger struck people a square complex easily.

"Help! , help!"

Thursday, January 28, 2010

The pleasure of being not so facebooked is something not many souls can understand to be happy about. Oh facebook this, oh facebook that. I deem it as a demon not worthy a lore. Straddled and uninvited as what most sane souls call it, but yet invite to part with the most sacred truth of your existence.

No more ye old orkut thou shall remember thy hath no fury against the strong, if not only would the strong perceive there is no truth to this song.

No one needs no visiting cards, nor do crows.
I wish I had my sanity for its never really yours.
In the plains in all the panes I try to drink the light,
but, no truth shall abide the true self that one really chides
For all the human vain, lets not lose out on a world to gain!

Not everyday would you find yourself, losing interest in what you like doing most. Unfortunately, in my case I just did that, yet again yesterday. It all started from the simple WWF (currently WWE), I had liked it so much but then I did not know when or how it simply was something I wasn't watching any more.Surely, then was the era of cable boom my other real passion were also linked without doubt to the idiot box..there where these cartoons like Ritchie Rich, Swat Kats, Captain Planets and the simply unforgettable power extreme centurions (this is special because these guys took out the fear of heights in me when every time they would go 'Power Extreme' from considerable heights each time and ta..daaaa they would be this hybrid machine-superhuman heroes...prehaps also the reason why I have had three fractures of my hands always falling from varying heights, once tripping on the high jump line which was only being put in place as I attempted to jump over, the time before that from a plot boundary wall playing Chor-Police and the the final time from a second floor window VIA the parapet of the first floor window and finally crashing down on the ground below).
Growing up, I would be fascinated by action movies and cricket and lo behold the sporty young chap in me from the fat sloth that I am currently sprang up and I joined Karate classes and the summer cricket coaching camps. The Karate classes would go on everyday in the morning at 6 and go on about an hour I would come back go to school and then be back at the pitch right outside my house which was set in a fashionable boulevard where each house was alternately one behind the other one a little ahead and play cricket for 3-4 hours each day. I peaked in both of these as I went on to get a brown belt in Karate and captained the summer cricket coaching camp team at the tender :P age of my Class 7-9. Then came the monstrous Tenth standard board exams, my parents asked if I wanted to abandon the Karate class and I was just so happy that I would not have to awaken as early as five-ish in the morning and I promptly agreed. But then I couldn't sleep beyond 5 by then because of my early bird routine and I would get-up and be bored and finally ended up spending lots of time infront of the computer after my early morning bath and act as if I was studying behind closed doors (in reality was doing as would have been expected of any boy at that age-surf the uncharted territories of the then young internet). People were happy I was studying so hard that I also came back from school and repeated the same routine, as every other friend of mine was studying in the true sense as well our cricket sessions also seemed to fade away and finally stopped happening. I was into playing games and exploring deeper on the internet realm and it would not be wrong to say that although I had a book in one hand, where the other one was I would leave to people to guess ;)

Real passions and pastimes need no time from your over scheduled, overburdened (However, I myself am jobless literally, in my life).

My line of thought has never been explanatory; never been explicable by my self or by anyone, somehow I feel this is because of all reasons that are real and more so because of my insane flow of thought. So, as I sit down to write this feeling really confused if it does makes sense to anyone reading this, I still want to continue writing this post.
'Why has India kept out of the recession?', is a question that I assigned my mind of conjuring up an answer for. (That to in spite of the drought in India - which I plan to reason out in another post).
For this, I took The US of A into the frame as I compared our Dear India. And here are the reasons I came up with after a quick bout of mental exertion:
Reason 1: I think developed countries like the US work on a Macroeconomic model, whereas India being a developing country (Here again with regards to the term developing country, I really think we need to have some stricter indicators to determine if a country is truly developing over the indicators that currently prevail because I consider India may still be way down at the bottom when it comes to using a fair and just indexing scheme for judging the development of the whole country) works on a more microeconomic scale. However, I must also not forget to state that the Micro-Economies that exists in the India's economic set up don't really have the synergy that can work in India's favour and leave it with a good chance of being at the top of the list of all developing nations in the world. So the real reason then that has worked in India's favour is the opportunistic climate that the Micro-Economic model has spurred, where some robust set of income earners have been the highlight and have tied up all the lose ends of the Micro-Economic model as well. These small but significant set of income earners, paint a rosy picture of a state of well being. And this rosy picture has been conveniently attributed to that of the whole of India and its masses. Also, another reason for this is the statistical diversity across the entire spectrum of the financial divides (based on the incomes), because of which the number of income earners have always seemed substantial when taking the entire population of a country such as India.

Reason 2: I think although the consumers of US of A when segregated as domestic and international would be almost equal, the capacity of the American population to consume cannot be shed aside, whereas in India this domestic consumption of goods and services both cannot be compared to that of the USA. So, when an general downturn and finally a recession occurred in the US, the country lost out on the most reliable consumer (it's own consumers) who had been its most strongest and also a prime exponent responsible for engulfing the huge share of demand for all goods and services both, since the time the world stepped on this techno-economic era. (I shall again come back to this point when discussing my 3rd reason) In India however, the last decade of steady inflow in terms of the export of services combined with a demand that has forever been much higher than the supply (again due to the statistical diversity across the entire spectrum of the financial divides) has not only pushed up the consumption of goods steadily domestically but also has probably always exceed that amount in value of the goods and services that that have been exported to the foreign markets and this has provided a cushion for the Indian economy in terms of the scope of growth across its various industrial and service sectors.

Reason 3: The US of A has also been able to create a faulty growth curve that has also been not based on the quality of goods consumed (don't get me wrong as I am trying to point out at the what may have been essential and what may have been a thing of luxury) and hence even as this shift was seen as the next level of growth of the American economy the Ipod's and the Mortgages alike to name a few brought the ultimate downfall of the century! Ipod's not essential and mortgages also unessential when one can't afford them (mind you maybe affordable mortgages wouldn't have got you to such an wrong scenario I assume and I hope you can reason with that ;)). Whereas, India the economic division of the masses albeit has consumed foreign luxury items it has also been able to consume domestically produced essential items as well as been able to dish out the essential services of countries like the US of A and stayed away from the techno-economic boom (although you might not concur with me here, I would like to say only a service like Google, Ebay, Facebook or Twitter making a hell lot of money can easily overpowered by a more innovative idea within a very short span of time and hence proving to be not so reliable to bet your countries Economy or its recovery on).

Now for an conclusion, I think the India micro-economic set up is going to take a very long time to overhaul and nor will it happen soon I believe and also with 1/6 th of the world's population every company would only want to operate domestically from end-to-end in India except those of extremely luxurious services and goods. So I guess Indians just need a little innovation and more socio-economic reforms before we set out on the ship of Economic growth and zoom on! And with regards to our Chinese brothers who will be the super power that has never been before all the best, because if there is no serious natural calamity, disease or an Ice Age they would be there and would have done it!

Although, most of my writing would be over worded and the sentences read very long, I still will be astounded if you do reach this line to read this!
